General Specification of End Carriages
To single and to double girder cranes, up to 20 meters at 10 t. The girder or girders are rigidly attached to the end carriages framing - welded or high stress bolted - which carries the double flanged wheel for supporting the bridge.
Steel Construction
Welded steel box girder to SFS 3393 B. Wheel bearing bores (and connection areas) mechanically machined in one clamp on a NC-machiningcenter, this to get geometrically exact wheel positions.
Travel Drives
(Pole changing) gear motor has a smooth start (using high energy flywheel fan), smooth change-over and smooth slow down. Operation voltage 400 V.
Travelling Mechanism
Open wheel gear. Flange wheels with ball bearings or roller bearings. Bearings have life greasing or are regreasable. Open wheel gear has to grease at times. Wheels made of DIN St. 52 or better material. We have programme to calculate the wearing of the wheels according to use of the crane and loads. When we have determined the bridge construction, loads and use, we have the correct construction.
Paint Finishing
Blast cleaned steel construction with finishing paint or grey primer (welded main girder connections)
