 Running 4 x 100 Metres Relay Proportionally
Jamaican men ran - Daegu 2011 - a new World Record 37,04 seconds. The event has a difference to 100 metres run, because only one starts staggering from zero speed. Other runners get the baton into their outreached hand when accelerating their speed.
Length of the Race and Time
According to the calculation, the length of the race is 100 m x 1,256 = 381,6 metres. This means 3,816 relative lengths of 100 metres.
100 - 125 - 160 - 200 - 250 - 315 - 400
Relative step valued 400 does not mean same as the arithmetic value of 400. Think about we design containers 100 and 400 liters. How much is the difference in weight when 14,8 liters volume diffrence? In fact 100 liter container's relative volume is larger, than 400 liter container demanded volume. Like this studied proportionality fixes error, which we do. 100 m time 9,58 second also has a certain kind of error, its reach one man.
