Weight Determination of a Lifting Table

A 1,000 kg lifting table weighs 185 kg, where the size of the table top is 80 x 135 cm. The lifting height for the table is 82 cm. Determine the table size 100 cm x 200 cm weight when the lifting capacity is 2000 kg. One manufacturer reports this as a weight of 350 kg and a lift height of 110 cm.

Calculation

82 cm => 102,5 cm = 1.1                   (1,0328³ =1.1)

102,5 cm => 110 cm = 1.03        (7.5 cm = 1/3 x 25 cm)

Final Conclusion

Four dimensions increase having factor 1.1 and from lifting height once a factor 1.03.

185 kg x 1.08³ x 1.1⁴ x 1.03  = 351 kg

We can expect the quality and safety have remained at the same level in both table sizes.
