Time Comparison in Sport
The London Olympics were at the time of writing in 2012. It has been said that the Pascal Triangle is not interesting and it is not worth paying attention to. Are we going to believe this? As a pattern, the Chinese knew the Pascal Triangle thousands of years ago. Now it is observed that the pattern corresponds to the running distances. The ancient Chinese did not have a tool for timing, but we are sure they competed at least with animals. Today, we compete in a wide variety of ways and know how to relate the time of performance to another similar performance. In London, the world record for the 800m run was broken. This is written about, because it is known that time is the fastest ever achieved. What is not known is whether the new world record is below or superior to other trips that can be compared through the Pascal Triangle.
The difference between EP-Calculation and science is, science calculates with formulas, but EP-Calculation is perceived through different kind of patterns. The formula does not lead to another event, in which case for example calculating the WR time there has no formula.
Science can be described as directly advancing, such as the 100 and 200 meter runs on a sports field. EP-Calculation curves are like tracks in long-distance running, and thus the EP-Calculation leads to curves of phenomena.
