Pentagon Continuum
Starfishes (Asteroidea) are echinoderms and belong to the marine invertebrates. Their bodies have a star‑shaped form, typically with five arms, or a multiple of five. They possess neither a brain nor a head. Historically, sea stars are among the earliest‑evolved animal groups, which is noteworthy in this context.
The most widely accepted theory is that modern humans evolved on the African savannah around 200,000–250,000 years ago. In humans, the brain and limbs developed in ways that enabled them to handle tools far more effectively than any other animal species.
