Kepler - Poinsot Polyhedra

These are the four regular star polyhedra, which are self‑intersecting and formed by stellations of the dodecahedron and the icosahedron.

A pentagon pointing downward is commonly associated with the symbol of satanic worship. When oriented the other way up, it was used, among others, as a sign of Pythagoras’ secret teaching after his return from Egypt, where he had spent 17 years among learned men.

A regular polyhedron is a polyhedron whose faces are congruent regular polygons arranged in the same way at every vertex. There are nine regular polyhedra: the five Platonic solids and the four Kepler–Poinsot solids.
