 Wall molds have been in Finland for about a hundred years. When casting walls, there are two mold methods, single-sided and double-sided molds. The wall molds are made of steel or plywood cast as a casting surface.
Double-sided formwork is the more often used method, where both sides of the wall to be cast are closed with two forms tied together. A one-sided mold closes the other side to be cast, because the other side of the wall to be cast is against a solid surface, a dug pit, or an existing brick or concrete wall.
The casting surface is a plywood or steel plate. A steel mold is used if good thermal conductivity or multiple castings are required. Formwork installation with any lifting device and usually by three men moving it on a flat surface. However, not for a picture-sized mold.
