Lila-Maijan saapuminen

Kukaan ei minua löytäisi minulta vietäessä puhelin ja autoni avaimet. Autoa voisi käyttää minun muualle viemiseen. Nämä ajatukset syntyivät päässäni, miettiessäni saapumistani tähän onnettomaan paikkaan näissä olosuhteissa.

   Tilannetta parantaakseni serkkuni sai minulta tekstiviestin. Siinä minä pyysin häntä soittamaan illalla, ellen sitä ennen olisi häneen yhteydessä. Viestissäni oli saamani paikan koordinaatit, jotka puhelussamme hänelle selittäisin.

   Mikäli minä en vastaisi hänen soittoonsa, serkkuni tuli ottaa yhteyttä viranomaiseen. Kyseessä olisi tositilanne ja lisäksi kirjoitin, etten lait-taisi varmistusta tekstiviestinä.

   Lähettäessäni viestin minä tiesin sen oudoksi ja myös sen, että pelko ja kärsimättömyys olivat saaneet minusta vahvan otteen. Naisen olisi pitänyt jo saapua tapaamiseemme.

Elokuvissa näyttelijät ovat pelottomia rooleissaan, kuten elokuvien tekeminen heiltä edellyttää. Minä en tehnyt suurella joukolla elokuvaa, joten sain metsässä ollessani pelätä.

   Minulla oli kokemus liikemiehistä moottorikelkkasafarilta, lähellä Lahtea olevassa metsässä. Täällä suurkaupunkilainen kysyi moottorikelkkansa rikkoutumisesta metsään.

”Kuinka hän selviää ihmisten ilmoille?”

Kysymys huvitti lähimpien talojen pihavalojen näkyessä kuutamossa puiden välistä. Suu supussa minä kerroin jotakin keksittävän siinäkin tapauksessa. Etenkin neljällä kelkalla metsässä liikkuessamme ja olles-samme merkityllä moottorikelkkareitillä.

  Lontoolaista Suomen metsät ahdistaa jo autossa istuessaan. Noiden miesten uskaltamatta metsään, en minäkään halunnut odottaa Lila-Maijaa loputtomiin saapuakseen.

  Ties monennenko kerran kelloa vilkaistuani, kuiskasin huulieni välistä hiljaisen toivomuksen.

"Tule jo, sinä olet odotuttanut tarpeeksi kauan."

No one would find me if my phone and car keys were taken away from me. The car could be used to take me elsewhere. These thoughts arose in my head when I thought my coming at this unfortunate place under these circumstances.

  To make my things better, my cousin received a text message from me. I asked him to call in the evening, if I haven't been in touch with him before then. My message contained the coordinates of the place I received, which I would explain to him during our call.

 

   If I didn't answer his call, my cousin had to contact the authorities. It would be a real situation and I also wrote that I would not send confirmation as a text message.

 

   When I sent the message, I knew it was strange and also that fear and impatience had taken hold of me. The woman should have already arrived at our meeting.

   In movies, actors are fearless in their roles, as making movies requires of them. I didn't make a film with a large crowd, so I had right to be scared when I was alone in the forest.

 

  I had an experience with businessmen from a snowmobile safari in a forest near Lahti. Here, a city dweller asked about his snowmobile breaking down in the forest.

 

"How does he survive from the woods?"

 The question amused me as the yard lights of the nearest houses were visible in the moonlight between the trees. I said that something would be invented even in that case. Especially when we were moving in the forest on four snowmobile and when we are on a marked snowmobile route.

 

A Londoner is already afraid by the forests of Finland while sitting in the car. Since those men don't dare to arrive in the forest, I didn't want to wait for Lila-Maija forever to arrive either.

 

After I glanced at the clock several times, I whispered a silent wish between my lips.

 

"Come on, I've been waiting long enough."
